Qualified Supervision

According to Florida Administrative Code 64B4-2.002, the definition of "Supervision" is the relationship between the qualified supervisor and intern that promotes the development of responsibility, skills, knowledge, attitudes and adherence to ethical, legal and regulatory standards in the practice of clinical social work, marriage and family therapy and mental health counseling. Supervision is contact between an intern and a supervisor during which the intern apprises the supervisor of the diagnosis and treatment of each client, client cases are discussed, the supervisor provides the intern with oversight and guidance in diagnosing, treating and dealing with clients, and the supervisor evaluates the intern’s performance.

Process:
Prior to any supervision, we would ask that you complete an Agreement.  If it is not completed, we may need to cancel until such time as both parties have signed the Agreement.  At that time, we will send a letter to the Board advising them that we are supervising you for your licensure.  Throughout supervision, you will be expected to complete case conceptualization forms, bring in examples of your documentation, videotape your sessions to present to us, and a rating scale on your progress will be completed.  Upon completion of your 100 hours of supervision, we will complete documentation necessary to send to the Board.   If at any time either party does not feel comfortable with the arrangements, you may cease the process, and we will complete the documents necessary to separate from services, including sending the Board documentation of how many hours were completed with Twice the Therapist Supervision and Consultation.

Pricing:
For Supervision, prices are $85 per hour per 15 cases.  If you see more than 15 clients a week, you may require two hours of supervision weekly at $150.  If you choose to attend a group session it is $50 per hour per 15 cases, with two case conceptualizations per intern.
